I [she/they] graduated from Ball State University with a degree in audio production. During my last year there, I was lead producer of The Scene on Indiana Public Radio. My senior thesis project Reflections on Motown grabbed the attention of NPR's World Café, among others. An unreleased song from the project was featured on Tegan and Sara's So Jealous X, a commemorative 10-year anniversary release of their So Jealous album. Aside from recording experience, I've also been involved with Girls Rock camps, teaching drums and acting as a band coach AKA helping young girls realize their badass-ery.
